Steps in the Mortgage Journey
Working with endurance mortgages
Introduction
We start the journey with a brief 20-30 minute chat. Understanding what you're looking to achieve and how Endurance Mortgages can help achieve your goals. In this conversation we invite you to ask questions, if you don't have any we can assist you with our wealth of experience.
Fact Find
At this point of the journey we want to get to know you, for example your employment status, income, outgoings, marital status and what you are going to want and need out of a mortgage. We will also speak to you around the importance of protecting you and your mortgage and where you may see potential risks.
Recommendation
In between the fact find and the presentation our advisors will work tirelessly in obtaining you the most appropriate deal based on your circumstances. Once we are happy that we have found you the most suitable deal, we will look to communicate our research and make our recommendations to you.
Application
Once we have made a recommendation and you confirm you are happy with this, we will then apply to the lender on your behalf. At this point here we will look to do an agreement in principle, this involved an affordability assessment and credit search. This will then give you confidence to proceed with this mortgage, if buying a home you will have the confidence in making an offer, alternatively if you are looking to review a current mortgage we can go straight to a full mortgage application.
Mortgage Offer
Once a lender has assessed your mortgage application, verified your income and conducted a valuation/survey, they will look to issue you a mortgage offer. This will allow you to progress things with your conveyancer/solicitor to allow you to exchange contracts and then finally complete. We recommend any insurance policies are put on risk at exchange.
Customer journey review
Once you have either moved into the new home or refinanced the current property our promise to deliver outstanding service does not stop there. We aim to have an annual review once your mortgage has started along with reaching out 6 month in advance of your mortgage expiring.
